Here at PROOF, we follow our own path and we strive to be different from the big companies out there. We only roast organic beans making us one of the few NYC coffee roasters serving organic beans on the daily. We roast sustainably and ensure the farms we purchase our green beans from pay their farmers livable wages. We are actively working on minimizing our single-use waste and offer 5% off for customers that bring their reusable mugs. Our Moms said “be the change you want to see” and we’re taking that seriously. Thanks, Mom.

ABOUT JEFFREY

Hi everyone, my name is Jeff, but I guess if you read the heading you already knew that. Before I started PROOF Coffee Roasters in 2015, I was just some techie dude-bro with HUGE dreams. Coffee wasn’t necessarily the first thing I was interested in, but it was definitely my favorite. Day and night, you’ll catch me sipping a fresh cup of coffee. Would I say it’s an addiction? Maybe.

Anyways, the first PROOF was opened out of a closet sized storefront in Queens, NY. I opened PROOF with all of the money in my savings account, so I was diving headfirst into a brand new life. Thankfully, with tireless efforts from our incredible baristas over the years, we’ve grown to be one of the best coffee roasters in the city! Now, our coffee is being happily sipped all over NYC and CT.

On top of serving up the freshest cup of coffee you’ll have in your life, we’re also brewing for a better tomorrow, and with each cup, you’re helping great causes. 5% of all proceeds go directly to AFSP and NAMI to support those struggling with mental health. We’re still striving to rebuild what we once were before COVID so that we can maximize our donations to charity, and we’re on our way there with your help! So shop with a purpose—shop with PROOF.
